  • Our Recruitment Process Guide

    Zoom interview - this is a short interview where we can get to know you as a candidate. We would ask character trait questions to find out more about you as a person and how you would fit in to our current team. As a candidate It is a chance for you to ask any questions you may have about the role or the company in more depth. It is important for you the candidate to know what we are about and what a typical day to day would be for you. Think of the interview as a conversation.


    Face to face interview at our office - If successful after the zoom interview. This stage is to have a more in-depth conversationwith you at our office In Salisbury. We would discuss what we can offer you and what your expectations of the job role would be. It is a chance for you to see our office and to get a feel of the working environment. If you have applied for an engineer role then we would ask you some technical questions to see what experience you have in the fire and security industry and to identify if there are any training needs. if you have applied for a different role such as administration then this will involve some aptitude tests.


    Feedback - once we have reviewed all the candidates notes from the interviews that have taken place, we would provide feedback to all our candidates successful or not. The feedback stage is an important part in the recruitment process for the candidates and we believe it should be treated that way, so we make sure the feedback is relevant to each individual candidate.


    Preparing for the Interview

    At Evotec, we would like nothing more than for to feel comfortable (as much as you can be for an interview) We look at an interview as a two-way conversation, you are interviewing us to see if you would like to work for us, and we are interviewing you to see how well you would fit in with our current team. The only way to find out if a company is the right fit for you is to ask the questions that are in your mind. What do you want from your working environment? We have a two-stage interview process, a zoom interview with character trait questions and a face-to-face interview which is to test your technical knowledge (if you are an engineer.), if you have applied for a different role such as administration then this will involve some aptitude tests.
